LEA VALLEY - ROUND 1

The M.A.D HFT team travelled to our neighbours, Lea Valley for round one of the UKAHFT series.
This was the first outing into the big time for our team, and what a time we had. There was a sea of red caps all displaying the now famous M.A.D. logo.

The weather was a bit iffy, but on the whole the rain held off and the wind was not as terrifying as was predicted. With a great effort put in by all the M.A.D. team, we won the team event, but the best news was that two of our shooter finished in the top 4 best shots of the day.
Both Colin Matthews and Geoff Ryder has an intense shoot out to decide the order of the day, Geoff finished in fourth but Colin held his nerve with one of the finest long range standing shots I have ever seen to take first place, well done to both Colin and Geoff and to everyone else who took part in the day.
