UKAHFT 2010 Season

As you all know the UKAHFT Season will be starting again on the 14th March. This year we will be reintroducing the UKAHFT round review, where a different shooter will write a review of each round.
My source tells me that Mr Wayne Marriott will be writing the review for Round 1 Lea Valley.

I would ask all those who are writing a review to mail it to me HERE via a word or notepad doc.

The 2009 MAD Christmas Dinner

This event was sold out within a few days of being advertised and all those who attended can tell you why. Once again this was a fantastic get together with over 40 people enjoying a lovely Christmas dinner.
Click HERE to see the pictures of the evening.
The toast master Mr Ian Bainbridge was once again in control of the evening bring order to the proceedings with his Gavel and block through out the dinner.
Each time his Bang Bang Bang with the now famous gavel we all knew someone was about to be called upon to make an impromptu speech, many of which seemed to be very short, and were interrupted by the doorbells Ian had supplied.

The main difference to this years proceedings was the introduction of the Honors Board that will be displayed in the club house. Ian explained that those who manage to get onto the honors board should be proud of themselves as they will part of a select few over the following years. The board will show the honors from 2008 which was MAD's first year and has spaces for the next forty years.
Here is a list of those who were honored from 2008 and 2009.

Congratulations M.A.D. team members on your winning the team event 2008!
"A message from team captain Terry Wheatley"

Well done to all team members who took part in the 2008 ukahft season, not only in winning the event but doing it in such great style 9/9 events which has never been done before, plus a ukahft team score on the day of 295 being only 5 off the max score.

From the start of the season our team spirit and atmosphere was second to none, but I am sure that none of us could have known what the rest of the season had in store for us!

As team captain for 2008, which was an honour in its self, this is a big thank you from myself to all team members for the support and effort you all put in over last year.
I hope everything came over ok through the year and I look forward to next year where I will hand over the captain job to someone new for 2009.

All the best Terry Wheatley

Junior UKAHFT Champion 2008
