Quarry had set out a really great course and the weather again was shaping up to be a real hot one.
As people started arriving, all you could hear was "sat nav took me all over the place" seems we were all having the same problems.
Most of us had arrived, and then about 30 minuets later, mike Steph Vinny and Roger turned up… they took an even more scenic route.
We all gathered at the MAD HQ (Tel’s van) and Terry gave a passionate team talk.
And then saftey briefing over, the first session was off.

Mini marshal.
Jenny Prone
The sun had really broken through now and it was blue skies for the morning session. As I was marshalling in the first session I was getting
an idea of how some of the MAD team were shooting, and it was starting to look good.
The first session had finished and there was some good scores.
Owen had shot a 59, Terry finding his form again with a great 59, Daz, Colin and Guy (great shooting mate), all with 58’s.

"Team work"
The second session was out now, the sun had slowly disappeared and the wind had picked up just a little, and at one point we thought we might have felt a
few spots of rain.
Things were getting exciting for me as we were a third of the way round and Big H had only dropped two shots.
Seeing as he was still feeling quite ill I was amazed at how well he was shooting.
He plated a stander, but kept his head and by the last shot,
a supported kneeler he was on for a 57.
All eyes were on him as he took the shot, Dink… Oh well, he had shot a fantastic 56 a PB.
so a proud dad and with a score like that I knew he might be in with a chance of winning his class.

Roger...Just get over it!!
Owen and Terry had a shoot off for 2nd and 3rd place in the open class with owen taking the honours.
Steph was just piped to the ladies class coming second with a great 57 with Jenny not far off with a 54.
Harry had won the 9-13 junior class, earning his first UK round win.
And once again the MAD team took the team class with a score of 292.
