TAWD VALE - ROUND 2

After round 1 success everyone was very keen to get down to business in round 2 of Tawd Vale, so in Session One most of the team were out shooting with only Guy and Steve Gillies in Session Two.
The weather was on our side again with "NO" rain and very gusty winds (just what we are used to at MAD).

The results came in after Session One. It was our man Darren Lindsey with his first UK clear 60/60 fantastic shooting mate as all you hear was CLEAR NO WAY! not far behind was Vinny Blackman 59! Owen Rosser 58, Colin Matthews 57 and Mike Elliott 57.

Darren took his first UK win in style 60/60, Vinny 2nd 59 and Owen 5th (58) after a shoot off, the team went on and took first place with a total score of 291 new team record for MAD.
The rest of the team was not far away with a depth of squad performance like Nick Thomas a new boy on the block with a score of 56 and will be a force to reckon with, keep up the good work mate! Also Richard (the daddy) Woods still has a lot to learn about the dark side, but with a score of 52 will be a future winner for sure, "look at you".

Steph Kirkwood took second place in the lady's with an impressive 56, she is shooting very well this season and will be in contention for the lady's UK title.

All round the MAD team has done very well not only in winning but in depth as a squad with a second to none team spirit. Same old faces!
